ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS

Are you open all year?
Yes, the resort is open year round.
When is the pool open?
From Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day (or later if weather permits) from morning to dusk daily. The water depth is from 3 ft. – 9 ft. We also have a shallow kiddie pool.
What are the kitchenettes equipped with?
Kitchenettes are fully furnished with a coffee maker, basic pots, pans, dishes, silverware, utensils, dish towels, dish detergent, stove/oven, full size refrigerator/freezer and microwave. Everything you would need for light cooking.
Do you allow pets?
Pets are allowed. The fee for each pet is $10 per night. If you leave your pet in your room they must be placed in a crate. You are responsible to make sure your pet doesn’t disturb other guests.
Do your rooms include coffee pots, microwaves and refrigerators?
Yes all our rooms include a full size 8 cup coffee maker, microwave and small refrigerator. We also include free coffee, cream and sugar.
Do you have parking for boats and trailers?
We have plenty of parking your boat or trailer. Our parking areas also include electrical outlets to charge your boats batteries.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a very easy cancellation policy. You can cancel your reservation all the way up to 2:00 PM the day before your reservation arrival date. If you cancel after the cancellation period or don’t show up we will charge your credit card for the first day of your reservation.
What happens if we decide to leave early?
We do not offer refunds for early departures. It is always best to make your reservation for the days you know you what to stay. If available you can always add nights to your stay.
Do you offer AAA, military, or AARP discounts?
Yes we give a 10 percent discount. Reservations must be placed on our website, called in or walk in reservations to receive a discount.
What happens if we need to check in late?
If you will be arriving after 9:00 PM give us a call and we can make arrangements to get you checked in.
Do you have a fish cleaning station and place to store fish?
Yes we have a fish / game cleaning station. It is covered with a stainless steel table and sink with running water. Also Includes overhead lighting and a game hoist.
Do you offer breakfast?
No we don’t offer breakfast but there are multiple restaurants in our area that serve breakfast.
What is the check-in and check-out times?
The check-in time starts at 2:00 PM and Check-Out time is 10:00 AM.
Do you have rooms on multiple levels?
No all are rooms are ground level.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa credit cards and debit cards.
What do I need to do to check out?
Check out is very easy. All you have to do is bring your key into the office or put your key in our key drop box that is located by the office door.
How can I receive mail/packages?
We allow packages to be delivered to our guests. Our shipping address is 16749 US HWY 68 E Hardin Kentucky 42048.
What is your housekeeping policy?
We normally don’t go into your room during your stay. We ask our guests to place their towels outside there room and we will replace them daily. If you need other items or more towels for the pool you can come to the office and we will get you whatever you need. If you would like daily housekeeping or need something taken care of just let us know.
Do you offer wireless Internet access?
Yes the access code is located on your receipt at check-in. The code is also located in your room.
Are your rooms non-smoking?
Yes all of our rooms are non-smoking. We do have chairs and a table outside every room were smoking is allowed.
Do you have large group rates?
Yes we have discounted rates for large groups. Contact us and we can discuss your group reservation.
Do you have activities for children?
Yes we have a pool, cornhole and basketball.
Where can I find places to launch my boat?
There are multiple boat ramps in our area. Kenlake State Park and Fenton Lake Access Ramp are 3/4 mile from Early American Motel.
Is a deposit required to place a reservation?
We do not require a deposit to place a reservation. To place a reservation all the is required is your name, address, phone number and a valid credit card.
